Toprak Razgatlioglu Ready for MotoGP Debut with Pramac Yamaha

MotoPortal StaffFebruary 22, 2026

Two-time World Superbike champion Toprak Razgatlioglu will finally make his MotoGP debut at the Thai Grand Prix after months of preparation with the Prima Pramac Racing team. The Turkish rider, who dominated WorldSBK in 2024 and 2025, has completed extensive testing aboard the YZR-M1 and says he feels increasingly comfortable on the prototype machinery.

Pramac's switch from Ducati to Yamaha machinery for 2026 adds another layer of intrigue to the story. Razgatlioglu and teammate Jack Miller will be tasked with providing crucial development feedback as Yamaha looks to close the gap to the front-running Ducati and KTM machines.

'The MotoGP bike is a different beast. The electronics, the tire management, the level of competition — everything is a step above. But I love a challenge and I will ride with my heart from the first lap,' the 29-year-old told MotoPortal.
